The visit on the Velehrad, the Slavic union and the Medal of Saint Constantine the Philosopher

On Tuesday and Wednesday (27th and 28th November 2018) together with representatives of the Slavic union, we visited south Moravia, specifically Velehrad, a place identified with Veligrad, the spiritual and power center of Great Moravia. We came to a conference called "The Cyrillo - Methodian tradition in modern czechoslovakian history", which was on the agenda on Wednesday. On Tuesday we used the free time to explore the cultural treasures of this magical place, including the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and of the St. Cyril and Methodius (picture below) or the beautiful old slavic open - air museum. There is even a small herd of aurochs.

Among other things, our spiritual father, main author of texts and illustrator of our upcoming book Jan Hachran was admitted as a member of the above - mentioned Slavic union, the society for cultural and educational activities in the context of the slavic idea in the Czech republic. On this occasion on Velehrad he also received a beautiful Medal of St. Constantine the Philosopher. CONGRATULATIONS!!
